Asus UL20FT review, specs and price

The Asus UL20FT is the latest device offered by this constructor in the 12 inch class, scheduled to enter the market sometime in the near future. The UL20FT laptop follows on from the UL20A with an upgrade to Intel’s new Core i3 or Celeron U3400 processor with Turbo33 technology though the chassis appears mostly untouched. The ASUS UL20FT Notebook will come in a few different configurations.

The Asus Turbo33 technology that allows CPU overclocking by 33 percent. the UL20FT Laptops will be built on the ULV Arrandale platform and there will be a couple of CPUs for you to choose from, with the most powerful probably the Core i3-330UM clocked at 1.2 GHz and One is Celeron U3400 should have a clock speed at 1.02GHz and lacks support for Turbo Boost. the UL20FT with U3400 processor is already available in Japan.

Asus UL20FT laptop comes with Intel GMA HD graphics, 4GB DDR RAM, a large 500GB 5400rpm SATA HDD storage space, and a 12.1-inch HD LED display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels. For connectivity, you will get 802.11b/g/n, WiFi, and 10/100 Ethernet LAN ports, and we presume there should be a USB2.0. compatible interface ports for external data connectivity.

This UL20FT notebook also has specs like a 0.3MP webcam, a 5-in-1 card reader, mic and headphone jacks, a 6 cell 4400mAh battery, weigh about 3.5 pounds, and measures 11.8 x 8.4 x 1 inch (W x D x H). There is also Experience FastBoot in this ASUS UL20FT. With ASUS exclusive FastBoot technology, Windows 7-enabled ASUS notebooks start up in a staggering 30 seconds. That is 40% faster than 32-bit operating systems.
