Motorola Quench XT5Motorola has yet to officially announce the tablet version of the Backflip named Quench XT5 smartphone. This Motorola Quench XT5 smartphone has feature 4-way navigation via trackball, and run with Android 2.1 Operating System.

The Quench XT5 smartphone powered with Android 2.1, 3.2 inch HVGA (320 x 480) touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera with flash, microUSB, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, an FM radio, GPS/aGPS, support for DivX video files and a 1270mAh battery that should be able to offer up to 6.4 hours of talk time and 22.7 days on standby.

The Motorola XT5 network support is WCDMA tri-band (900 / 1900 / 2100), GSM 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 7.2 and EDGE. Don’t look for this in the US now though as I suspect Canada might be the closest we’ll come to getting the phone because it’s misses the necessary WCDMA 850 Mhz network compatibility.

This Motorola  XT5 smartphone has a trackball for navigation, which is something not always found on some of the newer Android smartphone (including some from Motorola). There’s no word about its official launch date, and the pricing.
