HP was launched latest business laptop codenamed HP ProBook 6550b. This notebook is a good fit for business class who want a durable notebook that can handle power hungry tasks. The ProBook 6550b notebook is the latest 15.6-inch business notebook by Hewlett-Packard.

HP ProBook 6550 is powered by the four options for the processor, Intel Core i3-350M, Intel Core i5-520M, Intel Core i5-540M or Intel Core i7-620M processor, a 15.6-inch anti-glare LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 or 1600×900 pixel, the Intel HD integrated graphics or ATI Mobility Radeon HD540v 512MB dedicated GPU, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, and pre-loaded Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit OS. You can store all your data, documents, software and more on the 160GB/320GB hard drive or a 128GB solid state drive 7200RPM SATA II hard disk drive.

The HP ProBook 6550b notebooks also features a DVD±RW SuperMulti Dual Layer optical drive, microphone, stereo speakers, a 2 megapixel web camera, three USB ports, TPM 1.2 Embedded Security Chip, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, WiFi capability and optional Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, modem, HP Mobile Broadband with GPS powered by Gobi, and Intel vPro system management technology.

The HP ProBook 6550B notebook includes HP Protect Tools (for security), HP QuickLook to provide off-line access to e-mail, calendar, task and contact information at the touch of a button without having to boot up the notebook and HP QuickWeb for quick access to the web. The machine also includes a full-sized spill-resistant keyboard with numeric pad, dual pointing devices including a trackpad and optional pointstick.

The Probook 6550B is also equipped with HP 3D DriveGuard and HP Power Assistant software to conserve power and stretch battery life on the go with 6-cell standard battery or 6-cell/9-cell long Life battery.
