Lenovo IdeaPad U450

Lenovo is presented ultrathin notebook, Lenovo IdeaPad U450.The Lenovo IdeaPad U450p is a 14-inch thin-and-light notebook that uses the Intel Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage (CULV) processor. Does this laptop offer the best mix of price, performance, and portability
A thin-and-light laptop computer offers the optimal combination of portability, performance, features, and cost. Power-tuned mobile processors deliver enough power to keep you working smoothly, and unlike ultraportables, most thin-and-light laptops have a more reasonably sized keyboard and display, a larger hard drive, and a built-in optical drive. Yes, they’re more expensive than slightly larger, heavier mid-size laptops, but if you need maximum productivity in a portable package, this is the best choice.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U450 is based on the Intel Core 2 Duo ultra-low power consumption CPU and clock speed up to 1.4GHz, 3GB or 4GB RAM, up to 320GB hard drive (5400rpm).Lenovo IdeaPad U450 is implemented Switchable Graphics technology, which lets you choose between a discrete graphics card, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 with 512MB of memory for gaming and entertainment, and integrated Intel GMA X4500 video card to save power.
The Lenovo Idea Pad pictureThis Notebook is equipped with 14-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, and anti-reflective coating, DVD drive, Wi-Fi, HDMI interface, three USB ports and card reader. Lenovo IdeaPad U450 has weighs less than two kilograms.

The Lenovo U450 is black with a plastic casing and gently rounded corners and edges. The lid and area surrounding the keyboard (including the palm-rests) have a tactile, checkerboard-like pattern which resists smudging, fingerprints and scratching. Some may find this pattern distracting or annoying after prolonged use, but we see it as a nice design choice which gives this the otherwise plasticky case a bit of class and differentiates it from the shiny plastic all too common recently. The screen lid has a metallic, plastic Lenovo emblem embedded in the upper left. The bezel around the screen is shiny, smooth, black plastic and the hinges connecting it to the body seem fairly typical – plastic on the exterior and not overly tight or loose.
