Lenovo has launched the 15.6-inch IdeaPad Z565 affordable multimedia laptop. The new Lenovo IdeaPad Z565 is an AMD powered entertainment notebook that joins the Lenovo IdeaPad Z360 and IdeaPad Z560 entertainment notebooks as part of the new Lenovo IdeaPad Z line.
Like the other AMD-based full-size notebooks in their offering, the Lenovo Z565 will have dual-core Turion and triple-core Phenom chips, AMD Turion II P520 2.3GHz or N530 2.5GHz dual-core processor and Mobile Intel QM57 Express or Mobile Intel HM57 Express. The integrated graphics models will use AMD’s ATI Mobility Radeon 4270 graphics chip, while there will be a Mobility Radeon HD 5470 512MB option for those who need higher frame rates.
The IdeaPad Z565 line features 4GB of DDR3 memory expandable to 8GB, the ability to configure with up to an NVIDIA GeForce 315M 1GB GPU, 320GB of hard disk space, and DirectShare technology for DropBox like syncing of your important files across multiple computers. The Lenovo IdeaPad Z565 also comes with 15.6 inch LED-backlit display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, 802.11b/g/n, 0.3MP webcamera, three USB ports, Dolby Enhanced Audio, an Express Card slot, HDMI, VGA, a 5-in-1 digital media reader, and Windows 7 Home Premium Operating system.
Like the recently announced HP Pavilion line, the new Lenovo IdeaPad Z565 series have a metallic lid that won’t be such a fingerprint magnet and the new Z series will share a very similar keyboard with other Lenovo machines , which are among the best in the industry and a personal favorite.
Lenovo Ideapad Z565 weighs 5.7 pounds, 14.8 x 9.8 x 1.37 (W x D x H) for Dimensions with its standard 6-cell lithium-ion battery (up to 4.5 hours of battery life) and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. The IdeaPad Z565 has price ranging between $619.99 and $698.80.
