The Samsung R590 notebook is powered by an a 2.40GHz Intel Core i5-450M processor with support for Intel Turbo Boost, an NVIDIA GeForce GT330M 1GB graphics, a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels, 4GB RAM, a 500GB/640GB hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Operating System.

The R590 laptop has special features include SuperSilent technology, Samsung Recovery Solution, a USB port that can recharge a device even when the laptop is turned off, a convenient super Silent Mode, and the technology Samsung allShare, which transfer media content to the DLNA- compatible devices without installing time-consuming drivers.
