HP have announced the EliteBook 2740p, its first multitouch-enabled tablet for business users as well as notebook PCs tailored for both enterprise and small and midsize businesses. “The HP business touch tablet is the latest addition to the broad mix of choices that HP offers business customers to best improve manageability, productivity and mobility,” said Dan Forlenza, vice president, Business Notebooks, Personal Systems Group, HP. The Elitebook 2740p is HP’s latest convertible Tablet PC for business users. The 2740p is the first HP business tablet to come with a multi-touch display, making it easier to use when in slate mode and will come with powerful Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
While the new Intel Core i5 and i7 processors are more powerful, they won’t be as energy efficient, that the 2740p will be more than powerful enough for most business users. (more…)
