Toshiba just introducing a new tablet Android 2.2, Toshiba FOLIO 100 Tablet. The Folio 100 Tablet offers a rich multimedia experience, with a highly intuitive touchscreen interface designed to competing the Apple iPad.
The Folio 100 boast a weight of 750g with dimension 281 x 181 x 14mm and powered with Nvidia’s Tegra chip, 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch screen with 1,024 x 600 resolution, 1.3 megapixel Webcam, 16GB of internal storage, HDMI port, HDMI connector, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and provides up to 7 hours of battery life.
The Toshiba FOLIO 100 comes with a wide selection of apps and services dedicated to media consumption, 3G and non-3G versions, web browsing and social networking, FBReader as an e-book reader, Toshiba Market place for apps and music, and compatible with all Microsoft Office files.
Toshiba announced the Folio 100 tablet should be available for a Q4 release in Europe, Africa and the Middle East with price £329 including VAT (about €400 or $429). Toshiba FOLIO 100 with 3G support will also be launched later in the year, providing on-demand access to the web, regardless of location.
