Gateway (a member of Acer),just announced that their New Gateway LT22 netbook, can now be purchased with all your hard earned Canadian monies. Gateway LT22 is pretty similar to the Gateway LT32, but this one is packing a 10.1-inch display instead of the 11.6-inch display on the LT32. Basically, the LT32 is rebranded model of Acer Aspire One 721.
Gateway LT22 powered with AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor backed by ample DDR3 system memory 2 GB, ATI Radeon HD 4225 Graphics with 384MB of dedicated system memory, 250GB hard drive for storage, and a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 resolution.
Featuring a smattering of run-of-the-mill features, this LT22 netbook may not be king of the hill, but at least it isn’t the bottom of the barrel, either. The Gateway LT22 ultraportable laptop also sports a web camera with microphone, HDMI port, two USB 2.0 connectors, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit LAN, a multi-in-1 media card reader, and a multi-gesture touchpad.
The Gateway LT22 has a honeycomb chassis design and comes in either matte silver or brown and also comes with a 6-cell battery that enabling up to 6.5 hours of run time and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter. There is no price or launch date for the LT22 in the US yet, though in Canada it will cost you CAD350 (or $337).
