LG Electronics has announced the launch of the LG X140, a slim and stylish netbook that maximizes connectivity through the LG Smart POP application. the X140 is an entry-level mobile PC that, though it is based on the Pine Trail platform, has better than average specifications compared to its peers.
The latest LG X140 netbook offering a HD-ready 10.1-inch (1,366 x 768) display, it also comes with an anti-glare layer that makes it easier to use outdoors. However, the LCD is not its only party trick. This new LG laptop equiped with an an Intel Atom N450 processor at 1.66GHz, or an Atom N470 at 1.83GHz. This CPU is backed up by 2GB of RAM and paired with the GMA (Graphics Media Accelerator) 3150 integrated graphics.
LG implemented the obvious Ethernet connectivity, as well as WiFi and a 3-megapixel webcam. SRS TruSurround HD sound is also present, as is 3G and a battery life of up to a more than decent nine hours with two options: 9- cell or 6-cell. There is also a 1.3 Mp WebCamera, and 320GB of HDD as well as 3G and Windows 7 Starter pre-loaded as the operative system. The LG X140 netbook will be available in three color selection with Hot Pink as the bravest color collections. It looks pretty cool and lovely for ladies market with the price roughly $490.
