MSI has begun to launched and distribute the MSI GT660R gaming notebook and is now available in the US. MSI is one of a handful of companies riding the wave of affordable gaming laptops in notebook market.
The new GT660R is a 16 inch laptops display with 1366 × 768 pixel resolution and equipped with an Intel Core i7-740QM to frequency 1.73 GHz and with a 6 GB of DDR3 memory over 3 benches, NVIDIA GeForce GTX285M discrete graphics with 1GB of dedicated video memory and and a huge 1TB hard drive space that includes a Blu-Ray combo drive.
Other specifications include a webcam that renders 720p video, stereo speakers with a subwoofer, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, an eSATA/USB combo port, ExpressCard slot, 4-in-1 card reader, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports, VGA and HDMI outputs.
The MSI GT660R laptops has a chiclet style keyboard with a dedicated numeric pad and One of the most interesting for the players is the presence of TDE + (Turbo Drive Engine +) technology through which the user can modify simply acting the parameters of the processor, memory and and GPU performance instantly with one touch of the luminescent Turbo hotkey above the keyboard. The laptop has LED lights around its edges. The configuration, as implemented, can address fun titles recently produced without too much trouble.
The GT660R is 7.7-pound laptop (3.5 kilograms) includes a 9-battery. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium and will reportedly get around 3 hours of battery life. The MSI GT660R notebooks is pretty intense when it comes to its specs for gamers and though the price may be slightly above your comfort level.
