Panasonic has launched new Toughbook CF-31. The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is specifically designed for operating in generally extreme conditions and meets the Military’s MIL-STD 810G standards and has full magnesium alloy casing. Panasonic CF 31 also set to replace the incredibly rugged Toughbook CF-30, with increased performance and battery life and an even stronger build.

Panasonic Toughbook CF 31 is powered by an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 (i5-540 up to 2.53GHz) and 2GB of memory (up to 8 GB), a 13.1-inch LED-backlit touchscreen display with 1024×768 pixels resolution, up to 8GB of RAM and 160GB/250GB hard drive, an integrated or discrete (ATI Radeon HD 5650) graphics. Panasonic CF-31 also equipped with four USB ports, Bluetooth, WiFi and WiMax connectivity and optional mobile broadband Gobi, ExpressCard slot, PC card slot, an SD card / SDHC HDMI / VGA, optional 3G/WiMAX module, fingerprint reader, and GPS. Weight of this notebook is range from 3.58kg to 3.72kg depending on configuration. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 (Windows XP downgrade option is available).

The CF-31 is equipped with a Hybrid Cooling System combining a passive and active cooling process. In the passive process heat is distributed by pipes from heat critical areas to the cooling hub. The screen of this Toughbook CF-31 is equipped with technology that can make the Panasonic Circulumin display remains clearly in the sunlight or in darkness with 13-inch LCD XGA screen. The lid, bezel, and handle are made of a magnesium alloy, a hybrid cooling system, shock-mounted hard drive flex-connect with quick release and is splashproof. It also includes a dedicated wireless switch, which allows users to turn on and off connections to optimize the time of battery life.

The Toughbook CF31 comes with rugged certifications beyond MIL-STD-810G and IP65 and is ideal for any mobile professional facing extreme environments, such as first responders, military personnel, and field workers in industries. Each Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is equipped with a 3 year warranty with pick-up and return, with a commitment to repair the damaged parts within 96 hours.
