Wortmann AG has launched the new Terra Mobile 1746 notebook in Europe. Wortmann AG Terra Mobile 1746 is an Calpella-based Laptop powered with Intel Core i3-330M CPU which running at 2.13 GHz.
The Terra Mobile 1746 features Intel HM55 chipset, 3GB of DDR3 memory, Intel HD integrated graphics, and a 320GB hard drive and sports a 17.3-inch screen forgoes the costly Full HD support in favor of a smaller resolution, 1,600 x 900 pixels to be exact, a 6-cell battery, a DVD writer, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. With big 17.3-inch laptop boosts a screen resolution of 1600×900 pixels which is more than enough space to get work done and to also enjoy some movie or gaming entertainment.
For connectivity, this device offers 4-in-1 card reader support to SD/MMC/MS/xD cards, an ExpressCard slot, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi with Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.
This Terra Mobile 1746 laptop should be able to keep up with whatever document viewing, web surfing and multimedia playback tasks one may wish to engage in, making it suited for business users, but is not exactly close to being named a gaming system, not even remotely.
